Clay has been practicing civil trial work in Alabama for 33 years. His first ten years were with the defense firm of Starnes & Atchison, which he left in 1991 to focus on a plaintiff's practice. Since then, he has represented individuals and smaller businesses from throughout the United States. He has tried to a jury verdict over fifty civil cases and has been counsel in a number of notable class actions, including the HealthSouth™, MedPartners™, and Just for Feet™ securities class actions.
 
Clay devotes much of his efforts to representing persons harmed by pollution from coal mines, quarries, energy plants, and other industrial polluters, representing victims of securities and investment fraud, and assisting persons injured by vaccines and drugs. He has been AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell™ for more than twenty years and selected by Super Lawyers™.  His education includes a Bachelor of Arts in 1979 and a Juris Doctor in 1982 from the University of Alabama. Allison Riley

Allison joined the firm in 2011. Her practice focuses on the areas of environmental litigation, vaccine injury claims, personal injury and wrongful death, and general civil litigation.
 
Allison earned her undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in French and dual minors in Financial Economics and Art History. Following Vanderbilt, Allison earned her Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in May of 2011.
 
While attending law school, Allison was a member of the Cumberland Law Review. She was nominated Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities, and recognized on the Dean's List. At Vanderbilt, Allison was a member of Chi Omega sorority and participated in Vanderbilt Study Abroad in Aix-en-Provence, France. Allison's Bar Admissions Include:
